HPD National Day of Prayer 

Houston Police Department National Day of Prayer

The Houston Police Department would like to invite you, to our annual National Day of Prayer. The National Day of Prayer is Thursday, May 4, 2023. HPD/PACA will be recognizing this annual event on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 10am-11am.

This event will be held outside in the front of HPD Headquarters located at 1200 Travis (downtown). We will have the street closed and blocked off for this event for the stage and chairs. There will be several local pastors and leaders from the community participating to either speak or to say a prayer. The Houston Police Department would like to invite you, to our annual National Day of Prayer. The National Day of Prayer is Thursday, May 4, 2023. HPD/PACA will be recognizing this annual event on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 10am-11am.

Code Blue: “A declaration of, or state of emergency in which a  “medical code team” rushes to a specific location to begin immediate resuscitative efforts.”  The Church is the "Code Team" !

 We invite you to join us and become a part of a united community-based intercessory prayer on the streets outreach to be held in various locations in Greater Houston. WE have upcoming events posted below
Community Members, Pastors, Ministry Leaders and Prayer Leaders are invited to attend.

  • An all-North Side Community Vision Cast and Equipping: Saturday, September 10th – 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
  • An all-North Side Community Outreach: Saturday, October 1st – 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. - Community Gathering, United Prayer and Commissioning. 

10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Food and Clothing Distribution and Community Prayer Stations Outreach
 Both North Side Community Gatherings to be hosted by and held at Melrose Baptist Church –
