Pastor Rickie  was appointed to serve as First Southwest Baptist Church's Senior Pastor 1986. Prior to that, he served as Children's Church Minister at First Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Houston, Texas.

He has expressed a burning desire to lead a church like First Southwest Baptist Church where biblical views are embraced and encouraged, with members who care about the needs of those around them and who want to connect others more deeply to the body of Christ. Pastor Rickie takes worship and preaching very seriously, spending the first hours of his day focused on Prayer and Bible study.

He studied Biblical Leadership at the College of Biblical Study.

Pastor Bradshaw has been happily married for 39 years to his wife, Dreka. They have 7 children and 14 Grand Children.

Shawn Scoggins has served at First Southwest Baptist Church since 1999

 Shawn graduated fro Prairie View Am University. He is happily married to his wife, Sheronda. They have 8 children.
