We are at an exciting inflection point for the ministry. God has put before us many great things. Because God has given us this responsibility, it is important that we honor God together as we enter a time of prayer and fasting.
We have dedicated 31 days, November 1 through December 1 to take extra time in prayer and to fast something-anything that God would have each of us fast. Examples: a meal each day, caffeine, Facebook, television…anything that will help draw our time and attention back to God for Him to do His work in you and me.
We want to humbly submit ourselves personally and corporately to our Father God so that He will work IN US and THROUGH US in powerful ways for His glory and His alone.
To assist in connecting more deeply to God during this dedicated prayer time, Psalm 130 will be the theme passage of scripture for this 31-day prayer period. The 10-day prayer guide is designed as a tool for personal and corporate group focused prayer and fasting. It is designed to assist in personal and cooperate transformation. There are two things that God uses powerfully in the process of prayer and fasting. One is the Word of God; the other is Prayer and Praise.
Theme Verse: Psalm 130; especially verse 5
“I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in His Word I hope”
Theme Song: Wait on You
It is our prayer that throughout this 31-day prayer focus you will catch God’s heart for His Ministry. If you are faithful in your prayers and walk in humility and honesty, in the end you will most likely be ruined for the plans and purposes of God. You will become a passionate voice for restoration and healing, and you will desire nothing less. You will walk in amazement at the awesome power of God!
“Look among the nations and watch—
Be utterly astounded!
For I will work a work in your days
Which you would not believe, though it were told you.”
Habakkuk 1:5 (NKJV)
